This post has a little bit of everything all rolled into one happy love-fest!
First I wanted to share my recipe that the French Friday’s with Dorie community made….well on Friday. You know I never get my posts up on exactly Friday….
We made Asparagus, Bacon, and Egg Salad, and WOW was it delicious! I loved how the soft boiled egg tasted on my salad. I also loved how the egg, bacon, asparagus, and dressing complimented each other so perfectly.
I will be doing a cleanse starting the first of June from Glow Green Girl. I am really excited to do the cleanse. It will be a challenge for me, because it is mostly a gluten-free cleanse. When I made this salad today, I then realized it would be a great gluten-free meal to make.
I will be blogging my experiences during the cleanse, probably on a weekly basis. I will do it definitely for two weeks, but maybe for a full month. So if you have fun gluten-free recipes, please send them my way.
I cannot share the recipe for the lovely salad. BUT I can say you will love every page of Dorie Greenspan’s book Around my French Table.
Here is where the lovefest arrives…are you prepared for complete happiness? Thank you to the Clever Girls for this opportunity to share my top five fabulous bloggers.
What does fabulous really mean? For me, someone who shares there love for what they do with others on every level. This means they share in their writing, along with reaching out in the community, or social media to help others. They are supportive, kind, completely dedicated, and motivated to get what they want.
The first, and top blogger in my eyes is completely fabulous on every level. I met her a few months back, and we talk everyday now. I love and adore her! Nelly from Cooking with Books is new to twitter, and the blogging world actually. She is a graduate of CIA in New York, and has such a passion for cooking, creating, and sharing. She did not have a blog up when we connected during a Chef2Chef twitter chat. I remember she was making a rainbow coconut cake, and I asked if she would be sharing the recipe… well she said no. With all the lovely recipes she was making, I really encouraged her to get her blog going.
Today she has beautiful blog that shares recipes, tips, restaurant reviews, and trips to local plants, or farms. You get a little bit of everything all rolled into one fabulous blog!
Second fabulous blogger is Teeg from Living in the (k)Now. I met Teeg awhile back, basically during the beginning of my yoga journey. She has the most amazing spirit about her, and she shares it in every blog post. She is someone who is determined to get what she truly wants no matter what. She is about to work on her Yoga Teacher Training, which will be the next chapter in her fabulous life. I look forward to reading all about her experiences during the training, and what amazing experiences she will have after. She shares wonderful yoga information, some food experiences, and her fun vacations (especially her trip to France!)
The third fabulous blogger is Robyn from Philosophy Fitness. I very recently met her, and she is so looking forward to hearing about my first experience with hot yoga. She shares health, nutrition, and her yoga experiences on her blog. Right now she is just finishing up her Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica. I cannot wait to read all about her amazing experiences. She has such a love for life, and shares it in every post, tweet, or Facebook status. She especially has a love for yoga, and has been one of my mentors during my yoga journey.
The fourth fabulous blogger is Carolyn from All Day I Dream About Food. I love reading her blogs!!! She shares such creative ideas, and some gluten-free recipes that look amazing. I love how she shares so many recipes with almond flour, I really had no idea all the different ways I could use it. She has shared tips, thoughts, and has been very supportive with my blog. When she shares a blog post, she shares a story, you love to read everything she writes. She is a fabulous blogger who loves creating new dishes, and some old favorites along the way.
The fifth fabulous blogger is Brian from A Thought For Food. I love reading every blog he shares, and enjoying each picture. I feel he is one of the reasons I have been improving my photography, his pictures are stunning. Between fabulous pictures, and delicious recipes, this blog is one happy place to spend your time. He shares recipes, and restaurant reviews, and my favorite – Silent Sunday. He is definitely a fabulous blogger who shows his love for food on every level, and is willing to help others improve on their passion.
Thank you to the top five bloggers for making my days feel brighter, and more fabulous! I really do read, and enjoy everything you share.
