Free Hugs AND Monkey Love!

Surprise!  I am still here!  I posted a fun post last week of my top five favorite bloggers, then I disappeared.  I was asked to work in Atlanta for a few days, but it turned into a week trip.  Whew, I am still tired!

My cousin and Aunt live in the Atlanta area, so that was a bonus.  My cousin made sure to share some fun local food with me.

Guess what I tried for my first time, FINALLY?

Yup, Pho!

That was sooooo delicious!

I also tried Thai Tea.  Have you had Thai Tea?  It was a very unique flavor, with spices, and coffee flavor in the background.  I asked the server what exactly Thai Tea was?  I discovered that it is a family secret recipe.  I love hearing that!

After a long 4 days, and 1000 miles….My cousin and I decided we needed to celebrate!

What is the best way to celebrate?

Ice Cream of course, and even better….homemade ice cream!

I decided to get blueberry ice cream, and orange pineapple sorbet.  Megan got blueberry ice cream, and the amazing key lime pie ice cream.  We both wanted more, and I found her licking her bowl… seriously!

I loved the ice cream shop so much.  Look how cute the place is!

They even have “Monkey Love!”

AND “Free Hugs!”

What a fun week!  Thank you Megan and Aunt Lee for your hospitality, and love!

Some other fun news:

I received some free samples to review.  The next few weeks I will be sharing recipes that share the samples.

The first samples I received were from True Lemon.  I adore this company, and I am so honored to get this lovely package.

I also received some coconut oil from Tropical Traditions.  I have not had a lot of experience with coconut oil, so this is going to be so fun!

And last, certainly not least. I received some samples of Quaker cereal from the Clever Girls.  I love this cereal!

It will be exciting to share some fun recipes in the coming weeks with all these beautiful ingredients!

I am also in the process of trying out being gluten-free for a few weeks, AND dairy free.  I will share how it goes, and the recipes I make.  The first recipe may be gluten-free scones with almond flour from TheSpicyRd, ….YUM!

What is your favorite gluten-free recipe?

Until next time, Come on in, Have a seat,

Hugs, Terra
