Cocktail Time! {It Is 5 O’Clock Somewhere!}

Cocktail time!!!!  Would you believe that Cafe Terra has never shared a cocktail recipe?  Well I have exciting news, today I will share two recipes- thank you to Yellow Tail Wine!  AND I will share three more Fall inspired recipes that were published in the latest issue of Queen City Exclusive!  We went from zero recipes to five recipes in a matter of minutes…BONUS!!!

I decided to go outside of my comfort zone when I made these cocktails, and boy am I glad I did.  Since I started watching Bar Rescue on Spike TV, I have wanted to learn more about mixology.  I will never be able to call myself a mixologist, but I will have fun mixing up the different flavors!

Thank you to Yellow Tail Wine, Popcorn Factory, and Movies on Demand for a fun event this week!  I was invited to ‘Uncork – A Movie Night!’  We enjoyed some delicious cocktails that were inspired by the movie Snow White and The Huntsman that was released on DVD this week!  Hubby devoured the four different flavors of  popcorn from Popcorn Factory, it is WAY too delicious…..I may have tried some too!I had to adapt two of the recipes that Yellow Tail Wine shared with what I had had in my house and they were still delicious!  This non-cocktail mixer is going to be ROCKIN’ the cocktail scene before we know it!  I hope you enjoy the recipes as much as we did, and remember drink responsibly!

    There´s so much going on in those cocktails! I love trying new stuff, though it´s a bit hard at home and not much fun. I should go out more and have something with that gorgeous orange color!
  • I posted my very first cocktail too, today! Well..it's basically an ice cream float with booze..but still..first 'alcoholic drink' ever lol That said..I love your Poison Appletini! It would be great for an adult Halloween party..or any time! It looks beautiful! Love the Snow White Crusader too (great name!) Now, can I have some popcorn, please?

    Terra, that poison appletini sounds amazing. I love a good cocktail, and I'm always looking for fall inspired beverages. I can't wait to make this drink for our fall bonfire. Pinned! I would have taken down that popcorn, too.

    Since I had never seen a cocktail before I didn't ask you to participate with me today on my cocktail anniversary...see how that goes! I'm sharing 30 cocktails in celebrating but I love how no matter...there is always one that is new and I've never seen. I love making cocktails...fair warning? It can become as addictive as cooking and with much less mess! :)
  • I am soooo excited that you were featured in the same magazine as me!!! Your drinks looked AMAZING in there and on here too. I'm so proud to call you my friend! PS I WANT THAT POPCORN!

    As your first drink recipe, these two cocktails were a wonderful start! I'm not much of a drinker yet I love sweet fruity drink. :) I love the apple peel in the drink! Those little things count especially for eyes to enjoy. :)
