This blogger who loves to cook, bake and well enjoy a cocktail now and then. Guess what I have in my house? A bar! Yup, seriously! There is a rack above this cocktail to hold all my wine glasses, a sink, cabinet, shelf, and we bought a few stools to make it perfect! Adjust the flavors, and amount of liquor in the recipe to your taste. Everyone has a different taste for alcohol. My in-laws, and sweet hubby devoured the cocktail. So I guess it is officially family approved!!!
In small container with lid, add a piece of pie and cover with vodka. Let sit for six hours, (or overnight if you can wait that long.)
To strain pumpkin pie soaked vodka, use a strainer over a bowl, with a rubber spatula carefully strain the pie and vodka, (you want the thick strained pumpkin pie for your cocktail.)
In small sauce pan, over medium heat, heat together 1/2 cup water with a 1/2 cup sugar, cook together until sugar dissolves, let cook for about two minutes. Let cool.
In beverage shaker or enclosed container filled with ice, mix together pumpkin pie soaked vodka, Sabroso Licor de Cafe, simple syrup, and vodka.
Pour into glasses and enjoy!
Now you may devour this lovely cocktail….because it honestly tastes like a piece of pumpkin pie! BUT please enjoy safely, AND with all your dear friends!
