Bourbon Cherry Sipper

Cherry and bourbon together is basically just some serious bourbon happiness.  This cocktail is simple, delicious, and would be perfect served in a snifter glass……if I had one.  No need to gulp it all down, just sit back, relax, and sip away.  Time to enjoy this summer fun together one sip at time, with the delicious Bourbon Cherry Sipper.

Bourbon Cherry Sipper

I found these pretty glasses at a thrift store for like $0.50 each.  The beautiful etching on the sides caught my attention.  I love sweet deals like this.  The glasses are definitely not like a snifter glass, but small enough for just a sipping type drink.

Bourbon Cherry Sipper

This was just an extra added post to gear you up for Tuesday’s post.  When I was soaking the cherries for a sweet treat recipe, I was trying to decide how to use up the extra bourbon in the jar.  The cherry bourbon is perfect alone, or you can add some simple syrup to sweeten it just slightly.

I have a feeling you are starting to really see our extreme bourbon love here at the Cafe.  Stop back by on Tuesday for a cherry bourbon sweet treat recipe.  Until then here are a few of the bourbon recipes we have shared at the Cafe: Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Boozy Gingerbread Bundt Cake, Bourbon Lemonade Cocktail.
