Wine with cookies, sure. Wine in cookies, heck yeah! Right? I mean, as a wine lover how could I not add some to my baked treats? This cookie was a fun little experiment and took a couple tries to get it right. Once we agreed on the taste, texture and most importantly, color; we had a winner in our kitchen. This little ball of boozy love is not too sweet, but full of chocolate cherry fun. Each bite is filled with the flavors from the chocolate cherry cordials. Who wants one- or maybe more than one- Chocolate Cherry Cordial Pinot Noir Cookies?
If you look at my website, on the right side of the screen you can see all my recipes in categories, (I’m still working on categorizing the many recipes). There is a section for my Greek Yogurt Recipes, because I love working with Greek yogurt. For this recipe, I didn’t have any eggs. Hey, who needs eggs, right? You can see how puffy the cookie looks even without eggs, that’s all thanks to the Greek yogurt magic. If you haven’t baked much with Greek yogurt, I dare you to give it a go!
