Being a great cooking enthusiast- I love preparing all sorts of meals, however, oftentimes I want to share the easiest to cook, so more people can prepare them effortlessly.
I hope that most of you had the chance to prepare the recipe from my previous guest post – the Mediterranean Veggie Wraps. Today I will share even simpler one, the first on my list when it comes to quick preparation – the healthy and low-calorie Tomato & Mozzarella Skewers.
This quick and easy appetizer, with just a few ingredients and even fewer steps, is a great choice for adding diversity on the starter menu and it can be an amazing compliment grilled dish, as well. It can also come in handy when you are fast-preparing appetizers to serve some unexpected guests.
Because appetizers are all about presentation, you will have no problem preparing this one, since there is no cooking, only chopping and threading. The presentation will be top-notch, even if you aren’t so good in the kitchen.
Also note that this appetizer is vegetarian and gluten-free, which means it is just perfect for everyone!

Slice the bocconcini into thirds and put them in a bowl along with the olive oil, parsley, oregano and black pepper. Stir the mixture.
Cut the cherry tomato in half. Thread each tomato half on a skewer or toothpick, followed by a basil leaf, bocconcini, basil and another tomato half. Repeat the threading process with the remaining ingredients.
